This may not sit well with you....

But it occurs to me that, when we hear the US Army Chief of Staff cautioning that letting gay members of the armed forces serve openly might be disruptive and distracting and who-knows-what-else, that maybe he ought to be telling his troops to man-up and focus on the task ahead. Had a vision of lieutenants standing on tables in the officers' mess and shrieking, while the gay NCO's are throwing back a few at the bar. Who's the nelly one now??
