Prediction re Afghanistan

He's going to approve troop additions---maybe not the full 'ask', but something, along with a rough timeline....

I also think he's going to use the occasion to say something like this: "My fellow Americans, at this challenging time when our armed forces need all of our brave men and women 'on deck' in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere that our international treaties and commitments require our presence, this is no time to exclude or discharge any qualified American from being able to serve his country. Therefore, and especially because of the decision I am announcing today, I am instructing the chiefs of staff of each branch of our armed services to end the dismissal of gay and lesbian Americans and to implement the end of our 'don't ask, don't tell' policy within 90 days."
