At Pain Quotidien this morning, for breakfast and my date with the Sunday Times. To my right, a man catching up with his friend, discussing the challenges of a second master's degree in English literature. In front of me, two women talking about their times in today's Central Park Race for the Cure. To my left a couple reading the weekend Financial Times after which the woman pulls out her Mac to get to work on a music composition. Young couples with their young kids scurrying about. The place pulses with life.
