Sorrow

I woke up in the middle of the night and caught an email about dear friend Lisa's sudden and unexpected loss of her father very early this morning.  Just wanted to dedicate this moment to her, her mother, her family.

Oh, that thin line between the here and now and the hereafter......

Am one of the lucky ones among my peers, with two healthy happy parents alive and kicking.  I'm going to call them today to tell them I love them.
