Poofery

Yep, I'm a Poof.  For one amazing year as a senior at Yale, I sang, drank, ate, traveled, rehearsed, guffawed, elbowed, ogled, performed, road-tripped, and--finally--graduated with thirteen of the finest guys I know.  We were all poofs then--- Yale Whiffenpoofs--a 14 man a cappella singing group that, if you don't recognize the name, you'll recall our theme song  if you follow this link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6sQy_Ztqi8.  Next year, we celebrate 100 years of continuous Poofery along with all other living Whiffs who can make it to New Haven.

My group has its own reunions from time to time, and last weekend twelve of us spent a glorious time together in retreat in northeastern PA.  In addition to singing and performing, we ate, (they) drank, kibbitzed, fished, kayaked, and golfed.  Played my first 2 rounds of golf (ever!) on a 9 hole course on the property and fell in love with the game.  Fore!  Don't forget to duck....

A few photos from the weekend above.  Haven't had so much fun in quite a while.....
