HK Day 3

Wednesday

Hong Kong came back to life today after the new year's holiday officially ended Tuesday night. Much of the mainland is still on vacation, I am told, but HK, always out for a buck, got back to business as soon as practicable.

Since the galleries and museums have been closed, we've spent our time in the malls and walking in and around Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Central. Luckily we've been doing a lot of walking, since we are two people who rarely miss a meal---in fact, never.

Met the CEO of One Media today, a guy I tried to see last trip. There is a lot of networking potential here but unclear whether I should invest much more time at present in trying to get consulting projects in this market. Since other business opportunities in NY seem to be accelerating, will continue to stay in touch and try to expand media contacts here but may not return for a while. We will see.

Weather has been uncooperative since arrival. Cold, damp, murky. Can't seem to escape the winter this season, no . Time to hunker down and wait until April or May for better weather.
