Road trip

I'm taking an unusual detour starting tonight, flying to Dubai for about five days of visiting with friends and initiating media contacts. Camel riding, dune bashing, and a trip to the observation deck of the tallest building in the world included in the tour, I hope. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention indoor skiing?

I have no pre-set impressions of what I will find, though, in my imagination, it's Las Vegas meets Singapore. But we'll see.
