There's a wealth of great stuff, some of it a resorting of news you can find in various parts of the daily paper or the online presentation. Other blogs, including one (http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/) that dear friend David D has been devoting heart & soul to, you won't find anywhere else on the web.
Yes, one could spend the entire day moving from one website to the next to the next. Have more time for exploration these days, given the sorry state of the media business. Hope that changes soon. Carol S sent me a link to a 9 minute youtude video about the implosion of the media business, set to the music of Don McLean's American Pie. Funny for about 60 seconds and then I couldn't watch it anymore.....
Well, there are bigger fish to fry than worry-warting about my own little corner of the world.
Off to Seattle later today for a long weekend of hiking and catching up with old friends I haven't seen in quite a while.
