Pulling out

I was enjoying some gallows humor somewhere on the net this past week that, when the stock price of your bank is less than the per transaction cost at its ATM, it may be time to move your account.  Citibank, my bank of choice for well over 15 years, traded at $1.03 on Friday.  Ouch.

Walking along Broadway near home today, I had that fleeting thought that this may be the time to say goodbye to Citi.  I'm not skilled at goodbye's, so maybe I can send a good friend over on Monday with a wheelbarrow and a notarized withdrawal slip.
